Layers

Our organic laying hens live in mobile chicken coops, which we regularly move to fresh grass throughout the summer. In the autumn, we park the coops and establish a winter enclosure, either covered with netting or located under trees. As the hens gradually eat all the grass in the permanent winter run, we ensure they receive surplus greens from our market garden or wrapped hay.

The hens are fed organic layer feed, which is necessary for them to reach their potential for high egg production.

The hens are so tame that they gather around us and often jump up when we care for them, but to comply with current regulations, there will be periods when visitors unfortunately cannot enter the enclosure.

We sell eggs to both private customers and professional kitchens. Click here to read about where you can buy our eggs.
